Die Landschaft (Tag) / The Landscape (Day)

Motif # 002 / Limited edition of 5 + 3 AP

Silent contours. Clear forms.
Form shaped by silence, light, and time.
The Landscape is more than a place – it is a feeling, a state of presence. These works do not describe a location. They invite you into a space between clarity and uncertainty, between what is visible and what is only sensed.

What looks like nature may not be nature.
What feels familiar might be something else entirely.

Between day and night, figurative and abstract, these images hold their balance. They suggest landscape – hills, trees, celestial light – yet never fully confirm it. There’s an intentional restraint, a slowing down, a soft refusal to explain.

Each piece holds its own temperature:
Day is a gesture of openness. Light glides across the surface, mapping out curves, illuminating forms with a sense of quiet revelation.
Night is inward. Shadow expands. The scene becomes introspective – a place for memory, for stillness, for what remains unspoken.
The Landscape itself, without sky or light, is reduced to contour alone. A rhythm of form and surface. A suggestion, nothing more.

This series resists clear interpretation – not out of ambiguity, but out of trust.
Trust in the viewer’s own projection. In the spaces between things. In the idea that meaning is not something given, but something slowly discovered.

What is nature?
What is body?
What is imagined?

The questions remain.
They are not answered – they are simply allowed to stay.
